Hours before feds charge another colleague, a group of Democratic state lawmakers says it’s time for ethics reform

A group of Democratic state lawmakers on Thursday issued a series of ethics proposals ahead of the fall veto session, including term limits for legislative leaders and a process for temporarily removing members from leadership posts if they are caught up in a criminal investigation.
