Illinois puts 14 counties on COVID-19 warning list, blames local officials for failing to enforce social distancing and isolation orders

Fourteen of Illinois’ 102 counties were deemed at “warning level” for a resurgence of COVID-19 on Friday, with state health officials blaming the virus’s spread in part on poor messaging from officials in communities were social distancing and other suggested restrictions aren't practiced or enforced.
